Message harsh metal to metal contact, like cam to flat tappet lifters (especially lifters without oil weep holes, like older cars). Unfortunately ZDDP is said to be bad for catalytic converters, which is why the content is reduced in oil.

Im pretty sure Amsoil still has high ZDDP content, and last time I checked (which was a couple years ago...) RotellaT had higher ZDDP than most other big brand oils.

No idea how it affects turbo seals, although Im sure it couldn't hurt
